The King of Glory

My glory will I not give to another

CrownAs the world mourns the death of yet another one of its own, I take this time to reflect on why we are here on earth. The bible tells us that, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Since the beginning of time as we know it, God has dealt with mankind in a loving and forgiving way. Now wait, I'm sure some of you are going to mention all the folks that died in the days of old. Most of those that died in the old section of the bible was due to their sins or lack of obedience to God's word; nevertheless, God has always wanted to bring his creation back into harmony with himself. At the end of creation, God declared that it was VERY GOOD!

During the time that Jesus walked this earth, his goal was to show mankind that they too can walk upright and righteous before God the father. Taking on sinful flesh, Jesus was able to feel and understand the cares of his creation also knowing that one day he had to leave his precious jewels to go back home to the father. Upon the death of Jesus, there was a great pause in the earth for a moment; "the veil of the temple was rent; the earth did quake; and darkness came upon the land." The King of Glory is dead. After three days inside the earth, he rose with all power in his hand.

off the wallToday, we are under the grace of Jesus Christ our savior. He allows things to happen to cause us to think about who we are, where we are, and what we are doing now. Will I be remembered as someone who cared enough for my fellow man that I chose to smile during a difficult period in my life. Or did I spend time encouraging those that are without a mother or father? Was I able to take time out of my business schedule participating in social networking to see a person in the nursing home, or hospital, or elder care facility. The reason that we are here is to serve the good of the land, help others, and give God is just praise. In this time of mourning, don't for about the true and living King! Jesus Christ (Yahshua). END.
